Lincoln Fire Station One
During my undergrad, I lived next to a Lincoln Fire Station 1. If you can imagine, wailing sirens and rushing trucks could be heard at all hours of the night. I always wondered, “who are these brave heroes?”
That’s when I walked in and introduced myself. I was delighted to meet Alex Nobbe, a first-year firefighter working hard to prove herself in a profession traditionally dominated by men. I was inspired to tell her story through photographs and short film: GIRL ON FIRE
